Founded in 1984, J&M Fashions is one of Australia’s most trusted and enduring names in ladies' garment manufacturing.
J&M Fashions / Wet Seal Clothing began as a humble family business in 1984, founded by sisters Sharon and Michelle, alongside their husbands John and Jim, under the guidance of their parents Joop and Margretha Van Ham. It all started with market stalls across Sydney and NSW — selling affordable, stylish women's wear and learning firsthand what Australian women wanted.
From this grassroots foundation, a clear market need emerged: affordable, locally made garments. And thus, the manufacturing journey began, giving birth to Wet Seal label. Started from Swim wear to Uniforms.
We have proudly evolved from a humble local studio into a full-fledged manufacturing powerhouse, supplying premium apparel to Australia's fashion retailers, wholesalers, and corporate clients.

With multiple in-house labels, we cater to a wide spectrum of Australian women:
